Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools return to the Usher Hall for another exciting evening of band, orchestral and choral music. This year the programme will feature well loved pieces including Holst’s St. Paul’s Suite for Strings, The Hebrides Overture by Mendelssohn and will culminate in a performance of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. Over 400 young voices, 3 soloists and a large professional orchestra will combine to create a fresh performance of this appealing music.
