Former 10,000 Maniacs frontwoman Natalie Merchant is back after an eight year absence with her new album Leave Your Sleep (released on April 12). Described as “the most elaborate project ever completed or even imagined” Leave Your Sleep is a set of 26 songs adapted from poems by both famous and unknown writers.
Alongside these new compositions, expect to hear old favourites such as Jealousy and Carnival. For fans and newcomers alike, this is sure to be a fantastic night of music from a much revered musical talent.
