Glasgow Science Centre - Science Mall
The heart of Glasgow Science Centre is the Science Mall. The gleaming titanium crescent overlooking the Clyde has three floors packed with hundreds of hands on exhibits and interactive workshops that will fascinate you. It's also home to the Science Show Theatre, the lab and Planetarium - one of the finest planetaria in the world.
Test your reactions with our wiggly wire, see the affects of air pressure and things might not be as they first appear in our illusions section. Get up close and personal with our creepy crawlies on your visit to Floor 1- meet our Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches, Giant African Land Snails and our very talented musical fish.
Floor 1 is also home to our Science Show Theatre and our state-of-the-art Planetarium.
Science Mall, Floor 2 - Be Creative, Be Innovative
This 650 square metre development at Glasgow Science Centre lets your imagination loose and challenges you to invent and make things.
Take apart a petrol engine to see how it works and its ingenuity. Create an animation and send it to yourself. Make a structure and simulate an earthquake to see how it copes. Draw an amazing pattern using the harmonograph.
