'Painter' and the Studio: Paul McCarthy and the Myth of the Artist

Artists have created portraits of themselves at work since the Renaissance, often depicting themselves in a dramatic and flattering light. American performance artist Paul McCarthy's famous and irreverent film 'Painter' satirises the notion of the 'solitary genius'.

We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
