Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival

Launched in 2003, the Glasgow International Comedy Festival has gone from strength to, as they say, strength. Last year's line-up featured such international stars as Doug Stanhope, Scott Capurro, Stephen K Amos and Andrew Lawrence, major Scottish talent including Mark Nelson, Susan Calman and Raymond Mearns, rising stars like Daniel Sloss and How Do I Get Up There?, plus perennial favourites like Russell Kane, Jenny Eclair and Sean Hughes and household names like Frank Carson and John Bishop and even telly medic Dr Phil Hammond and environmental pioneer George Monbiot.
