Top ceilidh band Deoch 'n' Dorus run regular ceilidh dances at the GU.
The band are all graduates of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and have been playing professionally for ten years with two acclaimed albums and numerous radio broadcasts under their belts.
Instructions can be give for dances so don't worry if you don't know what you are doing – come along and let's have a ceilidh!

March 30th will see the first in our Spring/Summer season of Scottish Ceilidh Dances. The events are being run by one of Scotland’s most popular Scottish ceilidh bands “Deoch n Dorus” a band who have plied their trade here for over 10 years thrilling audiences both here and abroad. The events are being set up to promote:
Great Scottish Music
Scottish Ceilidh Dancing
Scottish Culture
Fun and exercise
The Dances are for everybody!!! Whether you are a visitor to Scotland for the first time or a regular attendee of Scottish Ceilidh dances.
All instructions will be offered.
So whether you want to dance the night away or socialise with friends and family, listen to great Scottish music, have some exercise a new novel way. Why not come along. We are having a ceilidh!!!
