BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra: The Symphonic Collection 2

American conductor Andrew Litton returns to the BBC SSO, bringing with him fellow American John Mackey's lively and colourful 'Redline Tango' for its UK premiere, and Gershwin's 'Piano Concerto in F', performed by up-and-coming young pianist, Stewart Goodyear. Finally, Litton's particular affinity with Russian music promises a memorable and powerful performance of Tchaikovsky's popular 'Symphony No 4'. Litton discusses Gershwin in a Pre-Concert Prelude at 6.45pm, and Goodyear performs in a Post-Concert Coda.

We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
