Comedy at the Ivory

The Shawlands gig rises up again, under new management and with a fresh batch of faces doing the comedy and Graham Mackie on hosting duties.

The compere is knowledgable and witty and the majority of the acts are really funny. It's free and the booze is reasonably priced (unless you drink Peroni), so its great value at twice the price. I would recommend this to anyone. Except Michelle McManus....

4. KingKong, Shawlands – 20 January 2010, 5:28pmReport: There are no tickets - you just turn up and pay normal prices for your drinks. Its the best free comedy night on the south side of glasgow on a sunday night on camphill avenue in shawlands.... (once you've been once you will get the joke...)
