Scottish Ballet adds this contemporary take on the Prokofiev ballet to their award-winning repertoire, bringing Dutch choreographer Krzysztof Pastor on board to bring a fresh twist to the classic tragedy.

Scottish Ballet presents...
Romeo and Juliet

This new version of one of the world's most romantic love stories continues the critically acclaimed relationship established with Krzysztof Pastor and Scottish Ballet's performances of his In Light & Shadow.

Romeo and Juliet is one of Sergei Prokofiev's most lyrical scores. The dramatic and colourful music follows the fate of the star-crossed lovers from their first meeting to their untimely deaths.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience a sensational tale of passion and death, full of surprising twists and evoking the vintage glamour of 20th Century Italy. This is a spectacular and energetic retelling of the ultimate fight for family honour, steeped in Scottish Ballet's inimitable dramatic style.

Music by Sergei Prokifiev
Choreography by Krzysztof Pastor
Designed by Tatyana Van Walsum
Dramaturgy by Willem Bruls
Lighting Design by Bert Dalhuysen
