Three eccentric brothers (Wilson, Brody and Schwartzman) cross India by train in an attempt to deal with the recent death of their father. On this evidence writer/director Anderson ('Rushmore', 'The Royal Tenenbaums' is fast becoming the John Cheever of US cinema. This film is preceded by a short by Anderson called 'Hotel Chevalier'; it is imperative you see this film in order to understand what follows. A delight.
