Deuces ex Machina
Merging the theatrical term ‘deus ex machina’ with the game of double solitaire called deuces, Deuces ex Machina plays on the idea of artists as god-like creators who re-create the world within their own contexts. NY artists include Jaishri Abichandani, Karina Aguilera Skvirsky, Diane Cheklich, Chitra Ganesh and Abigail Lazkoz.
