Refugee Week

This year, Refugee Week has built a programme loosely themed around the idea of ‘Different Pasts, Shared Futures’, with exhibitions looking at the different ways individuals interpret the cities around them, plays, talks, fairs and film festivals reflecting where the various refugees and asylum seekers living in Scotland have come from, and football tournaments and carnivals celebrating and cementing an ethnically diverse population. As usual, the programme is more Glasgow-centric, being mostly based in and around the Tron Theatre, but there are exhibitions and plays happening in Edinburgh too.

Refugee Week, Mon 16–Sun 22 Jun. View listings or visit www.refugeeweek.org.uk for more information..
