Three Harbours Arts Festival

We’re all about the community arts festivals this week, it seems. Summer is finally coming, and we can’t think of a nicer way to spend a sunny weekend than tracking down art in unusual places. So, in East Lothian, the main premise behind the Three Harbours Arts Festival is that over 150 Scottish and international artists, including the likes of Richard DeMarco and Calum Colvin, put on exhibitions in ‘ingenious spaces’ all over Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton. There’s street theatre, live music, and messing about in boats, and Sat 31 May marks the return of Prestonpandemonium! (exclamation mark theirs, likes), a celebration of what purists like to call ‘graphic novels’ and good proper geeks call ‘comics’. See www.3harbours.com and www.prestonpandemonium.com
