Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson marry

Lou Reed and his long-term partner, the avant-garde composer Laurie Anderson, married earlier this month in Colorado.

The couple, who have been together since 1995, were married on 12 April in Colorado, and threw a celebration in their home city of New York this week.

Among the guests was director Julian Schnabel, whose film of Reed performing his album 'Berlin' is to receive a UK release in July.
