But will Tennant stay on board the Tardis?

DOCTOR WHO star David Tennant has remained tight-lipped about his future as the Time Lord after launching the fourth series with co-star Catherine Tate.

Future episodes will reunite the Doctor with his former assistant Rose (Billie Piper), with rumours rife that producers are trying to talk David Bowie into a guest star role.
