Jamie Dornan was so embarrassed about being a male model he lied about his profession.

The 25-year-old hunk - the ex-boyfriend of Keira Knightley - used to be so ashamed of his catwalk career he invented another job.

Jamie, who has posed for Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Emporio Armani, said: "I definitely don't love modelling. I never did. I mean, I have respect for it - that's fine, but I've never gone, 'Oh yes, I'm a model.' I think it sounds ridiculous, especially as a man, to say that. I often would lie about it."

Jamie - who appeared in 'Marie Antoinette' - is concentrating on his budding acting career at the moment, as well as folk singing.

He said: "At the minute, I'm not really modelling that much and I'm just focusing on acting. It is nice to finally focus on one thing and not try to juggle a load of c**p."
