The Breeders

Not many artists can escape the shadow of their former bands, especially a band as influential as The Pixies. But bassist Kim Deal’s Breeders were a fantastic band in their own right and have finally followed up 2002’s understated beauty Title TK with a new album, Mountain Battles. They’ve yet to equal their early moments of magic but remain as charming a live act as you could ever wish for.
