Scottish music festival first

Rock Ness has announced there will be a Skins Live arena at the Scottish music festival this year.

The arena is a collaboration between Channel 4 and the festival, with the popular drama series playing host to thousands of music fans in their own customised space.

It's a first in festival programming, and the producers have said they will also be filming at the event to scout for new talent to appear in subsequent series of the show.

Among the acts confirmed to perform in the arena are Felix da Housecat, Hadouken, Annie Mac, Does it Offend You, Yeah? and Black Ghosts.

The festival, which takes place near Loch Ness on 7 and 8 June, will also be filmed and screened by Channel 4 as part of its growing coverage of UK music festivals.

Tickets are now on sale from £100. See www.rockness.co.uk for more.
