Top choreographer promises fresh take on classic

Following Scottish Ballet’s win for Outstanding Repertoire (Classical) at the National Dance Awards, the troupe is to introduce a second full-length production of Romeo and Juliet to its touring programme.

Acclaimed choreographer Krzysztof Pastor, resident choreographer at Dutch National Ballet, has promised a fresh visual snapshot of Shakespeare’s text, while a dramaturge has been recruited to help bring the story to life.
