Traverse play goes international
Trainspotting actor Ewen Bremner is to star in a touring production of David Grieg's Damascus, the Traverse Theatre announced today.
Bremner, perhaps most famous for his role as Spud in 1994's Trainspotting, will play the role of Paul in the play that was first performed as part of the Edinburgh Fringe last August.
The cast will start rehearsals in London on 31 March under the direction of the Traverse's Philip Howard before touring to Toronto, New York and Moscow.
Extra dates are expected to be added at a later date.
