Weather hits swing date

Glamorous swing and big band club night Vegas! have had to cancel their next Glasgow date, which was due to take place this Saturday 8 March.

A spokesperson for Vegas! said: 'We have been informed (via the Ferry) by Glasgow City Council and their contractors, that severe weather conditions have delayed the work involved in the regeneration of the quayside adjacent to the venue and, unfortunately, there is no access to the Ferry this weekend.'

However, all work should be completed before their next proposed date at the Ferry on 12 April.

Organisers say anyone who has purchased tickets in advance for this date should contact the original point of purchase to arrange either a full refund, or to exchange their tickets for a future Vegas! night.
