Isobel Campbell teams up with Mark Lanegan for second album
Former Belle & Sebastian songstress Isobel Campbell is to join forces with the gravelly vocals of Mark Lanegan (ex-Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age) for their second album of raw duets with a country edge.
The new album Sunday at Devil Dirt (to be released 5 May) will follow their previous critically acclaimed and Mercury Music Prize-nominated The Ballad of the Broken Seas, and will follow the same blue print with Campbell writing the music and Lanegan joining her on vocal duties.
