Following the success of Gaelic film, Seachd – The Inaccessible Pinnacle, Young Films has secured a deal with international sales agent Altadena Films, to sell the feature globally.

The film will be distributed under the title Seachd – The Crimson Snowdrop for the international market.

The collaboration is a coup for Young Films, as Altadena is widely recognised for its high profile work with MGM, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros, as well as a number of films from independent producers. Seachd was financed by GMS, Scottish Screen and BBC Alba.

Producer Christopher Young said of the news: ‘I am delighted to have secured this deal. Altadena are very passionate about this film and Seachd will now reach an audience around the world through a commercial distributor, which is a really exciting prospect and all we could have hoped for.’
