The Raconteurs, Ian Brown, Kaiser Chiefs and more confirmed for T in the Park
The first names for this year's T in the Park, 11--13 July, have been confirmed as The Raconteurs, Ian Brown, Kaiser Chiefs, The Prodigy and The Pigeon Detectives by festival organiser Geoff Ellis.
The Prodigy will headline the Radio 1/NME Stage on the Sunday, while Ian Brown and Kaiser Chiefs will both play the main stage. The main stage headliners have still to be announced. However it will be a triumphant return for Jack White with The Raconteurs (also playing the Radio 1/NME stage, day tbc) after The White Stripes had to cancel their appearance in 2003 after White broke his finger.
However despite rumours Muse will not be at T in the Park, having confirmed that this year's V Festival (16 & 17 August, playing both V's Chelmsford and Stafford sites) will be their only European festival show of 2008.
Check back on www.list.co.uk on Friday 15 February for full T in the Park launch details.
