Paris Hilton has revealed she loves fishing

Paris Hilton loves fishing.

'The Simple Life' star regularly ventures down to the water with her rod but never eats her catch because she feels too "bad" for the fish.

Paris said: "I love fishing. I like to catch the little critters, but I don't eat them. I just put them right back, because I feel really bad for them."

The blonde star also revealed she has another unusual hobby - ice hockey.

Paris, 26, insists she is a demon on skates and loves the physical aspect of the often violent sport.

She added to Parade.com: "I'm really good at ice hockey. I've been playing since I was 15, and people don't know that I play defence in hockey. I like to check people, push people down!"

The socialite was romantically pursued by New York Rangers hockey player Sean Avery last August.

Avery, who had just recently split from Paris' friend '24' star Elisha Cuthbert, tried his best moves at a Malibu party, but was spurned by the hotel heiress.
