He’s been off the radar for a wee while so it’s great to see Joseph Malik rocking the Voodoo Rooms with a DJ set this January. He’s famed for his take on nu soul, investing the sound with a contemporary jazzy urban edge as showcased on his albums Diverse and Aquarius Songs (both on Compost Records).
