Glasvegas - preview
Alan McGee calls these boys and girls: ‘the best Glasgow band since The Jesus and Mary Chain.’ and he should know given his track record. The retrophiles released their debut single ‘Daddy’s Gone’ last month so time for a bit of a celebration at regular haunt Nice’n’Sleazy’s. Expect lo-fi bass, doo-wop, rockabilly, a singer unafraid of his accent and soaring pop capabilities.
Nice’n’Sleazy, Glasgow, Wed 19 Dec.
