On the Buses
In the run up to International Human Rights Day on Monday 10 December, Edinburgh and Glasgow bus passengers just need to look up to do their bit. After a series of workshops run by Oxfam Scotland and the Scottish Poetry Library, five poems written by refugees, asylum seekers and native Scots have been chosen to be displayed over Lothian and First buses in both cities. All the poems are reflections on contemporary Scottish life, and are designed to remind us that asylum is a basic human right.
