Amy Winehouse has been warned that she faces a £1 million bill if she fails to impress at her biggest selling shows.

The singer was booed by fans in Birmingham this week, as she kicked off a 17-date tour slurring through her set and insulting the audience.

She performed after visiting Blake Fielder-Civil at Pentonville Prison in London.

Fans booed as she dedicated a song to her husband, to which she replied: ‘If you’re booing you’re a mug for buying a ticket.

‘Second, to all those booing, just wait till my husband gets out of incarceration.’

Due to perform in Glasgow tonight, some have voiced doubts that she can finish the tour.

Her spokesman said: ‘She told her management that she wants to carry on. If anyone told her to stop and rest, it would only make her more determined to do it.’
