The Beatles back catalogue should be available online next year, according to Sir Paul McCartney.
The solo albums from all four of the band’s members are now online, after George Harrison’s music was added last month.
Sir Paul said it takes time ‘to get these things right’ but when the final contractual issues are resolved, the music will be available digitally.
The Beatles is one of the few remaining major acts to withhold property from online stores such as iTunes and Napster.
‘There’s maybe one little sticking point left, and I think it’s being cleared up as we speak, so it shouldn’t be too long,’ Sir Paul added.
