The View to headline Glasgow Hogmanay
Dundee band The View will top the bill for Glasgow’s Hogmanay celebrations this year.
The popular indie group will be joined by singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald and tribute act Suspiciously Elvis to bring in the New Year.
Lead singer of the View, Kyle Falconer said: ‘Scottish crowds are the best in the world and we have always had a fantastic time gigging in Glasgow.’
Around 15,000 people are expected to take part in the George Square celebrations.
Glasgow’s Lord Provost, Councillor Robert Winter said: ‘The line up will certainly ensure the crowd have plenty to sing about as they bring in the New Year.’
