Jimmy Page - broken finger a ‘nuisance’
Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has spoken about the broken finger that saw the group postpone their much anticipated reunion concert, claiming it will take ‘a little while to heal’.
Recently named a Living Legend at the Classic Rock awards, Page said the injury sustained from a fall in his garden was a ‘nuisance’ but that it was not permanent.
The band’s one night only tribute concert - in honour of late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun - has been put back a month to December 10.
Page said the band will be playing songs that ‘people would want to hear’.
He added: ‘We just got together and started playing and it started to take on its own shape.’
