Madame Tussauds forced to repair mauled Ocean’s Thirteen models
Waxwork models of Hollywood heartthrobs George Clooney and Brad Pitt had to be withdrawn after they were mauled by over-zealous fans.
Madam Tussauds removed the models for emergency repairs just a day after they were unveiled for an Ocean’s Thirteen exhibition.
The museum’s studio team had to re-mould Brad Pitt’s bottom, which had been repeatedly pinched by visitors, while George Clooney’s lip-stained cheeks needed repairs after too many kisses.
A spokesman for Madame Tussauds said: ‘They have been mobbing the whole set, kissing and touching them for a photo, but this is what it is all about so we are not going to stop them doing this, although we will keep an eye on things.’
The popular A-list figures are now back on display.
