Curtain falls on second Tron director in two years
Glasgow’s Tron Theatre is to lose director Gregory Thompson by the end of the month, as he concentrates on his own company A B & C.
His departure marks the second director to leave the company in two years, following Ali Curran, who left just a year after being appointed.
Mr Thomson said: ‘I have enjoyed my time at the Tron and the opportunity it has afforded me but the continuing successful development of A B & C, together with my family commitments require me to be based in London.’
Considered a Shakespearian expert, Mr Thomson will return to direct a play early next year.
