Help – Paul McCartney talks about divorce ‘hell’

Sir Paul McCartney has talked about his ongoing divorce battle with Heather Mills, claiming the experience is akin to ‘going through hell’.

Talking to Radio Times magazine, the former Beatle said that music and his children keep him going.

‘Going through a divorce is a very painful thing,’ he said.

‘As Winston Churchill once said: "If you’re going through hell, keep going!"

‘The only solution is to remain dignified. If I don’t keep a silence about it, I lose this idea of being dignified.’

It is thought McCartney’s marriage to 39-year-old Mills, which lasted four years, could cost the 65-year-old between £20 million and £70 million.
