Cooks from across the UK gathered in Strathspey to whip up their finest oat-based dishes for the annual porridge making championships.
The contest was won by Maria Soep, a guesthouse owner from Argyll, who walked away with the coveted Golden Spurtle.
She said the secret to her success was in all in the oats, adding: 'It feels great to have won – I am delighted.'
Meanwhile, the prize for speciality porridge went to Al Beaton from Inverness, who added stewed apple, cinnamon, raisins, and chocolate to his winning mixture.
A spokesman for Hamlyn’s Oats of Scotland – sponsors of the competition – said: 'The standard was very high and the final was very tense.'
