Jack Carroll and Gabz Gardiner are through to the 'Britain's Got Talent' final after securing the public and juges vote in the second live semi-final on Tuesday night (28.05.13).

Jack Carroll and Gabz Gardiner progressed to the 'Britain's Got Talent' final on Tuesday night (28.05.13).

The young comic, 14, won the public vote and singer songwriter Gabz, 15 - who was dubbed a "future pop star" - secured the judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell's vote unanimously in the second live semi-final after wowing them with a self-penned track.

Alesha was blown away by her performance and told the teenager that she had "written a hit record," while Amanda compared her to Lily Allen.

After she was voted through to the final ahead of singing duo Jack and Cormac, Gabz, who revealed she has written around 30 of her own songs, said: "I feel really good, and I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who voted for me."

Jack was equally thrilled to have won over the voting public and joked that he already has "a couple of ideas" for the final, asking whether it would be okay for him to sing opera.

Arisxandra Libantino, 11, won the judge's vote on Monday night (27.05.13) with her rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing'.

Singing duo Richard and Adam Johnson also made it through to the final - which takes place on June 8 and will see the winner take home £250,000 - with their dramatic performance of 'Somewhere' from musical 'West Side Story'.

The third 'Britain's Got Talent' semi-final is on ITV at 7.30pm on Thursday (30.05.13.).
