Rapper 50 Cent appears to have regained some semblance of dignity after his disastrous chart war with rival Kanye West, and has taken the top spot in Europe.

The two became embroiled in battle when it was discovered they were releasing their new albums on the same day.

However despite Fiddy issuing the threat that he would quit producing solo music if his Curtis album was bettered by West’s Graduation, he was trounced in the UK and America.

Now the rapper has won a reprieve, storming the European charts followed by Manu Chao in second and West coming in third.

The rapper has also put his house in order after pulling out of promotional appearances earlier this month, announcing a UK winter tour which takes in eight dates across the country.
