We’ve been banging on a bit about album titles a bit this issue but In Our Bedroom After the War sounds likes its dripping with sonic possibilities, and that’s before you’ve even take the disc out of the case (or record out of the sleeves, blessed vinyl purists). This Montreal-based quintet’s sound inspire thoughts of everything from Air at their most playful to The Delgados at their most orchestral, especially given the twin male/female vocals. Their music is the kind of evocative, literate pop music to cherish.

King Tut’s, Glasgow, Thu 4 Oct.
