Poorly kept secret confirmed

The 80th Oscar ceremony is set to be hosted by the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, confirming possibly the worst kept secret since the ending of the Sixth Sense.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences have rehired the satirist after the toe-curling hideousness of Ellen DeGeneres’ performance last year.

Now, if the egos of Hollywoodland can cope with the occasional jape at their expense the annual 234 hour ceremony may actually be quite entertaining.
