Inverness say play it again Van
Van Morrison will play another date in Inverness at the end of the year, after fans scrambled for tickets to see the star perform.
The gigs at the Ironworks - organised by the venue and the Black Isles branch of Cancer Research UK - will be held on Friday December 7 and Saturday December 8.
Fans who missed out on the original gig were asked to register their interest in another show. Those who did now have a week to confirm the booking.
A spokesman for the Ironworks said: “We are very happy to be able to support Cancer Research UK with not only one Van Morrison show but now two shows.”
The Northern Irish singer songwriter, who has enjoyed a career spanning five decades, is best known for songs Brown Eyed Girl and Wild Night, but also helped his first band Them reach prominence penning their 1964 hit Gloria.
