The new Bond instalment, number 22 for the love of god, looks like it’ll continue the gritty action trend started by Casino Royale.

Director Marc Foster has signed up Dan Bradley as his second unit director who, as we all know, was the ‘action designer’ on the Bourne Supremacy and the Bourne Ultimatum.

The Bourne franchise has stolen Bond’s thunder of late, upping the quality of the action while maintaining an intelligence that knocks Fleming’s gentleman spy into a cocked hat.

So the as yet untitled Bond picture will hopefully bring us more shaky-cam car chases and less endless celebrity poker tournaments.
