Pitt ready for another child

Brad Pitt has said he and his partner Angelina Jolie are ready to add to their four-strong brood, but did not reveal if this would be a biological child or another adoption.

The actor was promoting his new film The Assassination of Jesse James in Venice when he was asked if he was ready for a fifth child. The couple already have four children, three of whom adopted from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam – as well as 15-month old Shiloh.

Pitt said he was enjoying fatherhood. “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had and also the biggest pain… I’ve ever experienced.”

He added: “I love it and can’t recommend it any more highly – although sleep is nonexistent.”

Pitt’s latest film, which also stars Casey Affleck and Sam Shepherd, is directed by Andrew Dominik and described as “more a gangster film than a Western”.
