Strictly Come Dancing line-up revealed
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' line-up has been revealed on 'The One Show', with Olympian Victoria Pendleton saying she signed up to do something "completely different".
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' line-up has been officially unveiled.
The celebrities taking part in the BBC series were partially revealed when they arrived at rehearsals last week, but on 'The One Show' tonight (10.09.12) the participants were all publicised, with Olympic gold medallist Victoria Pendleton revealing she took part because she has always wanted to learn to dance.
Speaking to former contestants and 'One Show' hosts Matt Baker and Alex Jones, she said: "Well it was just the idea of doing something completely different, I would love to be able to dance, I really would.
"I find watching dance captivating and I think, 'Wow, if only I could move like that.' There's no expectation for me to be any good at it, but I'm going to give it 100 per cent. It's just so different!"
Nicky Byrne, Richard Arnold, Dani Harmer, Michael Vaughn, Fern Britton, Johnny Ball, Kimberley Walsh, Sid Owen, Lisa Riley, Jerry Hall, Louis Smith, Colin Salmon and Denise van Outen complete the line-up of the show.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood has backed Girls Aloud beauty Kimberley to win the show, claiming she had the most relevant experience.
He said: "Kimberley - I think she'll win. She's danced before, she's foxy, she's hot."
