The Killers have announced that they are playing a UK tour this October and November.

The Killers have announced that they are playing a UK tour this October and November.

The tour starts shortly after the indie rock band from Las Vegas release their fourth album later this month.

They will be playing 11 shows altogether, beginning at Glasgow's SECC on October 26 and ending with two shows at London's O2 Arena on November 16 and 17.

Along the way they will stop at Aberdeen, Birmingham, Nottingham, Newcastle, Cardiff, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester.

Before the tour kicks off the band are to play two intimate UK shows this month, one being a free gig at London's HMV Forum on September 10 and the other at London's Roundhouse as part of the iTunes Festival on September 11.

Their new debut single 'Runaways' from their forthcoming album was leaked on Tumblr hours before it's official radio preview on July 10, 2012.

Their fourth album 'Battle Born' is released on September 17.
