There are plans for dramatic wedding scenes when the couple tie the knot later this year - after finally convincing Syed's parents Zainab and Masood to give them their blessing - but the romantic occasion could be ruined by the newcomer.
The soap's boss - Lorraine Newman - recently spoke about plans to create a dramatic love triangle and she is hoping the scenes will keep viewers gripped.
The source told Inside Soap magazine: "Prepare for a typical Walford wedding - full of twists, turns and huge drama! There will be one hell of an uproar if Syed or Christian cheats on their other half..."
