ITV2 are planning to launch a rival show to 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
TV bosses have secretly been filming new reality series 'Harbour Lives', which follows the glamorous lives of the super rich residents of the seaside resort of Sandbanks, Dorset.
The show would prove a counterpart to the network's popular series 'TOWIE', famous for launching the careers of the likes of Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone.
An insider told The Star newspaper: "The Essex lot do their best to make out they live a wealthy lifestyle but the people featured from Sandbanks don't have to pretend.
"They are dripping cash and diamonds and expect nothing less than a life of luxury.
"Their lifestyle is likely to shock and fascinate many people."
The daughters of a wealthy businessman, a male model and members of an open water swimming club are said to be the stars of the new show.
TV crews have been filming the posh youngsters all summer as they attend the season's most exclusive events, a scenario which is reminiscent of E4's hit reality show 'Made In Chelsea'.
The exclusive resort of Sandbanks is the fourth most expensive place to live in the world and has been dubbed Britain's Monte Carlo.
'Harbour Lives' was originally intended as a mini-series, but could be extended.
