Two Scottish Fopp stores which closed their doors in June will reopen this weekend. The music retailer famed for its knock down prices went into administration at the beginning of July – and was swiftly bought by HMV. The stores, based in Union Street, Glasgow, and Edinburgh’s Rose Street, will be joined by the original Fopp in Byres Road, which will reopen later this month. Staff have been offered their jobs back. Fopp’s Edinburgh manager Stephen Gardener said: “Our staff are excited to think that we’ll be opening again soon – we’ve had lots of messages of support from our customers and are looking forward to seeing them again.”
