Hello, Holly!
There’s a genuine acting talent in Hello, Holly! but a laugh-free script does nothing to save her from dying here. Nice ideas like bringing to life the Angel of the North and a horse actor recur with little weight behind them and Burn’s tortured, squealing finale merely reflect the audience’s state of mind at the finish.
