Daft, cute show for all the family
Plested and Brown’s fifth Fringe show is a quaintly conceived offering about Terry, a Hotpoint washing machine repair man who risks life and limb in only half a van working in the not too distant future Watford by Sea. Ingenious scene changes, self-reflexive mugging to the crowd and a bit of social commentary makes for a decidedly daft, cute little show that is almost for the whole family. (Marissa Burgess)
Pleasance Dome, 556 6550, until 26 Aug, 4.20pm, £9.50–£10.50 (£8–£9).
